WIP: Gartenstadt Falkenberg Gruppe 14, 1913
Gartenstadt Falkenberg, Berlin-Altglienicke auch „Tuschkastensiedlung“ genannt.
Hier endlich einer der wenigen modernen Architekten, von denen ich wirklich sehr viel halte, der seine Berufsbezeichnung tatsaechlich verdient!
Bruno Taut (1880-1938) Von ihm stammt nicht nur diese Siedlung sonder z.B auch die Hufeisensiedlung. Beide sind UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe!
Von den Nationalsozialisten uebrigens als "Kulturbolschewist" bezeichnet seiner Aemter enthoben...

Das ist vielleicht eine laienhafte Frage, aber es würde mich interessieren, was für die riesigen Texturen mit 2048 Pixeln spricht, die die Modelle so sehr aufblähen, wenn sie bei naher Betrachtung dann doch unscharf wirken. Das Wehr, das ich mir zu ergänzen erlaubt habe, kommt mit Texturen von insgesamt 725 KB aus.

Das ist doch ganz einfach. Nimm eine Ziegelmauer von 10m Laenge. Das sind 50 Ziegel mit Fuge. 2048/50~41 Pixel pro Ziegel.
Bei einer 1024er Textur nur noch ca. 10 Pixel, bei einer 512er nur noch 2.5 Pixel. Noch Fragen?

Was soll das aussagen? Das Zeitalter von TRS2004 und VGA-Grafikkarten ist ja nun schon ein, zwei Tage vorbei, oder?
Und mal ganz am Rande, Hast Du Dir mal Assets mit PBR-Materialien angeschaut und wieviele Maps da benoetigt werden? Da sind meine Onetex-Maps noch sehr sparsam...

Ich hatte doch eigens das Beispielbild beigegeben. An dem Mühlrad ist zu erkennen, was ich meine.
Pbr-Materialien und Normal-Maps sind für die meisten Scenery-Objekte, insbesondere Gebäude, unnötig. Ich habe sie noch nie angewendet.

Ja, war zu erkennen, ein ziemlich kleines Objekt mit einer kleineren Textur. Und ich habe Dir erlaeutert, warum ich grosse Texturen benutze...
